Based at the car park at the foot of Wild Horse Mountain, this year's running of the Wild Horse Criterium and Wild Horse at Night will be run in conjunction with each other on two different courses.  The surface is a mix of pine forest trail, grass, gravel, sand, compact dirt and two small creek crossings (one of which is usually dry).  As well as bird life and kangaroos, the area is also known for the wild brumbies that inhabit the area,
