Refund Policy
GENERAL POLICY​

Refunds when applicable will be debited for the following:

  1. Refunds will be subject to flat admin charge of $25 + any merchandise pre-ordered against the entry

  2. Refunds limited to 50% eight weeks prior to any given event

  3. Refunds discontinued beyond four weeks prior to any given event

  4. If you wish to withdraw beyond the refund window, you can transfer to another participant via the Race Roster portal under your own account.

  5. Should events need to be rescheduled or cancelled, refunds may be subject to existing expenditure or may not be available, but registrants may be offered entry an alternative event at an appropriately discounted or zero fee or transfer to the same event the following year or another event of their choosing.

  6. Should you need to withdraw beyond the refund cut-off, you may be offered a deferral to the following year's event at a discount of 50%.

Merchandise may be subject to early registration. Also, if registration numbers dictate a run/order of medals cannot be pressed they may not be awarded.  For registrations made less than 12 days prior to an event, merchandise may be mailed to the participant.

Weather Impacted Events

WEATHER IMPACTED EVENTS AND PARTICIPANTS​

In the event of inclement weather or a 'weather event' impacting any aspect of any of our events, we operate in consultation and within conditions of permits and permissions applied by our stakeholders (QPWS, HQP, Queensland Government departments, etc.)

 

Safety of participants and event crew is paramount.  

  1. ​Should an event be cancelled, participants will be issued with a credit for any other event or transfer to the same event the following year.

  2. In the event of postponement and/or rescheduling, participants have the option of attending the rescheduled event or can be issued with a credit for any other event or transfer to the same event the following year.

  3. You can transfer to another participant via the Race Roster portal under your own account.

  4. If an event goes ahead as scheduled, but participants are unable to attend due to difficulties attending as a result of weather conditions in their locality (situations declared be a relevant local authority), they will be issued with a credit for any other event up until the same event the following year or transfer to the same event the following year.

COVID Impacted Events

GOVERNMENT COVID-19 DIRECTIVES

As of October 14th, 2022, there are no longer any personal restrictions applicable to individuals who have tested postive to COVID-19 - i.e. there is no applicable impediment to an individual being able to attend an event or not.  As such, there is no longer any applicable mitigation for COVID-19 impacted registrants. 

As a business operator, we still have a duty of care and would treat any related instance on its unique circumstances and make any judgement as necessary.  As with our previous COVID-19 refund policy, under any such circumstances whereby an event as a whole is impacted, or it's deemed that there is risk to the participating group:

  • ​Should an event be cancelled, participants will be issued with a credit for any other event or transfer to the same event the following year.

  • In the event of postponement and/or rescheduling, participants have the option of attending the rescheduled event or can be issued with a credit for any other event or transfer to the same event the following year.

  • You can transfer to another participant via the Race Roster portal under your own account.
